Clay County Supervisor of Elections Chris H. Chambless invites the public to attend the Logic and Accuracy Test (L&A) for the November 5 General Election. It’s scheduled for this Friday, October 11, at 9 AM at the Supervisor of Elections Office in Green Cove Springs.
The L&A is the required public testing of the election equipment held prior to each election. Test ballots are processed through the tabulation equipment used for all three methods of voting: Voting by Mail, Early Voting, and Election Day, to certify it’s accurately counting and recording votes. Upon completion, the equipment is sealed and then kept under strict surveillance until it’s deployed for voting.
The L&A, along with all other Canvassing Board activities, is open to the public. Voters are encouraged to attend and learn about a crucial part of the Florida elections process. The Supervisor of Elections Office wants Clay County voters to cast their ballots with confidence. We’re dedicated to the process of conducting fair, secure, and transparent elections.
