Supervisor Chris H. Chambless reminds Clay County voters that October 5 is the deadline to register to vote for the November 3 General Election.

It’s easy to register to vote or update voter information online at RegistertoVoteFlorida.gov. Paper registration applications are available at all public libraries, the Tax Collector’s office, and the Clay County Supervisor of Elections Office. The Elections Office is located at 500 N. Orange Ave., in Green Cove Springs. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Paper applications must be postmarked or delivered to the Elections Office by October 5. Due to new procedures in the U.S. Postal Services (USPS) operations, it’s recommended that voters visit a Postal Services retail location and request a manual postmark at the counter.
